Akihi is seriously my go-to boba shop! I absolutely love the taro and brown sugar drinksthey’re so good and always hit the spot. It’s also such a nice place to hang out with friends or get some studying done. The atmosphere is super chill and makes it easy to stay for a while. Definitely one of my favorite spots whenever I’m craving boba! 🧋💜

My first boba on the East Coast and in Metuchen at 11:20 PM! 🤣 I got mango and strawberry boba with amazing popping boba. Tried popping boba for the first time and I'm obsessed highly recommend! Thank you, Akihi Bubble Tea! :)

I love this AKIHI location for the customer service, food and drinks, and hours of service. I love coming here with friends and playing board games late at night. Tonight I tried their new Brown Sugar Brulee and it's amazing just like everything else. Highly rec!

We really enjoy this spot, their bubble tea/milk tea, rose tea, and green tea are all fantastic. The quality of the drinks is consistently great, and they’re one of the only places open late on weekdays, which we appreciate. The only downside is the amount of boba. We always pay for boba in our drinks, which is standard, but this location gives by far the least we’ve ever received anywhere. We usually run out halfway through the drink, which is disappointing because the tea itself is so good. We love their bubble tea and would love it even more if the portion of boba matched the quality of everything else.

Boba was delicious! I’m not usually a big fan of super sweet drinks, but the staff was amazing and made sure my drink was just how I wanted it. We also tried the ice cream, the kids cup with Oreo and vanilla, and my kids absolutely loved it! The service was great, and the whole place was super clean and welcoming. Definitely coming back!
